Weekend at a Moravian Family Winery
300 minutes
Description
At Bartonik Winery, you will have the opportunity to connect ancient history with modern times.
The tasting takes place in the beautiful, new spaces of the winery's industrial building in a village with a rich history. The history of the village of Mikulčice dates back to the Great Moravia period.
This tasting offers a comprehensive experience, including accommodation, a tour of the production facilities, a walk through the wine alleys with a certified guide, and a visit to the wine museum. It is an educational experience where visitors learn about the history of the wine alleys, winemaking in Southern Moravia, and the winemaking craft.
The biggest attraction is that the Bartonik family winery is not solely focused on wine production—they also make high-quality syrups, musts, and other specialties that you won’t find in any other winery.
The tasting is led by the winery’s owner, Mr. Bartonik, who will guide you through the secrets of winemaking.
You will taste 10 wine samples from the family winery and enjoy gourmet specialties such as duck pâté, authentic head cheese with wine jelly, camembert cheese with wine jelly, goulash, cracklings, canapés, and other delights.
The stay includes:
- welcome drink
- Two breakfasts – choice of three dishes and drinks
- Two-night accommodation at the U Kostela Guesthouse in Mikulčice
- Gourmet evening with wine and buffet-style food tasting (7:00 PM – 12:00 AM)

They are looking forward to welcoming you in Mikulčice, in the new space!
