Our curated selection of local wines will guide you from the fresh, fruity notes of Little Carpathian frizzante to time-tested varietals like Riesling, Welschriesling, Grüner Veltliner, and Frankovka modrá (Blaufränkisch). These wines excel in the region's unique terroir, characterized by limestone and loess soils. They will be complemented by a refreshing, balanced Müller-Thurgau with delicate citrus and floral notes, reflecting the winemaking heritage of the Little Carpathians.

New Slovak Varietals

You'll also discover new Slovak varietals gaining recognition in the world of modern winemaking. Devín will captivate with its aromatic profile and subtle spiciness, Dunaj will bring bold red tones with hints of chocolate and earthiness, while Hron will offer a spicy robustness complemented by notes of black berries. The evening's highlight will be a sparkling wine produced by the traditional method, enhancing the tasting experience.

Wine, Food, and History

During the tasting, a sommelier will guide you through the history of the Little Carpathians, the specifics of the local terroir, and the innovative techniques winemakers use to create modern wines. The tasting program includes 10 carefully selected samples from local winemakers, accompanied by delicious bites – a selection of cheeses, cold cuts, grapes, and bread. Water and soda for refreshment are, of course, provided.
