About the winery
THEY LIVE BY WINE
In autumn 2018, the Allacher Winery moved to the highest point in Gols, the wine capital of the Neusiedlersee Wine Region in Burgenland, Austria. Here, the harvest is processed, the grapes are fermented and the wine is aged in stainless steel tanks or oak barrels. Wine tastings and wine events also take place here and there is a spectacular view of the vineyards all the way to Lake Neusiedl.
CONNECTING
The Allacher winery combines decades of traditional knowledge with the latest in modern viticulture. This approach has led to excellent wines for years. The winery's vineyards are located on approximately 36 hectares of the unique Lake Neusiedl wine-growing region, including the legendary Salzberg, Altenberg and Gabarinza vineyards.
The careful approach results in fresh, fruity white wines, firm, dense red wines and richly extractive sweet wines.
Tastings take place in a new modern tasting room with a panoramic terrace overlooking the entire village, the vineyards, Lake Neusiedl and, in fine weather, the Schneeberg mountain.
