The TOKAJ&CO winery was established in 1999 as a successor of the state-owned enterprise Tokaj. TOKAJ & CO is the largest producer of Tokaj wines and is based on the observance of traditional wine production in Tokaj. It manages 100 ha of vineyards exclusively in the Tokaj wine-growing region and grows traditional varieties - Furmint, Lipovina and Yellow Muscat. Every year, it produces about 350,000 bottles of the best that Tokaj has to offer. TOKAJ & CO has wonderful tasting rooms of the historic Tokaj cellar - with a total length of 2.5 km, it is the largest cellar complex in Slovakia, which is also listed on the list of national cultural monuments.
