Description
Krmeš Winery was established from a desire to produce wine using a classic method from grapes that spontaneously ferment after pressing. The only intervention is temperature control for yeast propagation. The goal of the tasting is to introduce and explain the entire production process, showcase the production facilities and technical equipment, and convince wine lovers that wines made this way are healthier since they contain no additives for beautifying and flavoring the wines.
The tasting is guided, accompanied by the winemaker himself, and includes a tour of the cellar and subsequent tasting of individual wines with descriptions of their production and the final product. At the end, you can watch a video of the grape harvest and pressing process. In nice weather, the tasting can be combined with a tour of the vineyard, which is 150 meters from the winery. For smaller groups, the tasting takes place in the cellar near the production facilities, and for larger groups of 20-50 people, it is held in the vaulted cellar in Senec.
You will taste 8 samples of wine from the varieties: Riesling, Pálava, and Pinot Noir in various styles and vintages. Interestingly, Krmeš Winery focuses on only three varieties, which is rare in Slovakia.
In addition to wine, you will enjoy cheese and meat refreshments from local products and fresh pastries.
The tasting lasts 90 minutes, after which you can relax and finish your wine.

Tasting conditions
Please arrive on time to enjoy the tasting, and don't forget to wear warmer clothes during the autumn and winter seasons, and a light sweater in the spring and summer.
