Inside the historic building of the Old Town Hall in the heart of Pezinok, you’ll enjoy a carefully curated selection of local wines that blend tradition with contemporary winemaking artistry. You'll taste time-honored varieties such as Riesling (Rhine Riesling), Welschriesling, Grüner Veltliner, and Blaufränkisch, all of which thrive in the unique terroir of the region with its limestone and loess soils. The lineup is complemented by Müller-Thurgau, offering a fresh, balanced flavor with citrus and floral notes, reflecting the winemaking heritage of the Little Carpathians.

Slovak Grape Varieties
You’ll also discover new Slovak varieties that are gaining international recognition in the modern wine world. Devín will captivate you with its aromatic profile and subtle spiciness, while Dunaj – a bold red wine with deep fruity, chocolate, and earthy tones – offers a glimpse into the future of Slovak winemaking.

Wine, food, and history
During the tasting, a sommelier will guide you through each wine, sharing insights into the history of the Little Carpathians, the unique local terroir, and the modern techniques used by winemakers to craft today’s exceptional wines.

The tasting includes five wine samples from local winemakers. The experience is accompanied by a tasting platter (cheese, charcuterie, grapes, bread) as well as soda and still water.
