Champagne Tasting in the Dark

Discover Champagne in a completely new way. A tasting in total darkness allows you to focus entirely on aroma, taste and texture, without the influence of labels, colour or expectations. During this exceptional evening, you will explore the world of France’s most prestigious sparkling wines and experience Champagne in its purest form.

The event takes place on 26 June 2026 in the courtyard of the Palace Apartments Hotel in Bratislava. During an approximately two-hour guided tasting, you will sample 7 carefully selected Champagne wines. Each sample will be served blind, with the identity of the wines revealed only after the tasting. This allows you to fully focus on differences in style and discover the true character of Champagne without any preconceptions.

The tasting will also include engaging commentary on the history of the Champagne region, sparkling wine production, and key terms commonly associated with Champagne, such as Millésime and Négociant Manipulant.
