The Medal-Winning Matyšák Like You've Never Seen Before

Hosted by Víno Matyšák – one of the most respected wineries in Slovakia, with over 30 years of winemaking tradition – this exclusive wine tasting is designed to delight every wine lover, from curious enthusiasts to seasoned connoisseurs.

This exceptional evening will take place in historic archive cellar dating back to 1904, one of the largest and most impressive winery spaces in Slovakia, with a capacity of 45,000 bottles. A place steeped in history and the spirit of wine, it offers an atmosphere that will elevate your tasting experience to something truly extraordinary.

Wine tastings of the new vintage are available on two dates:
Friday, June 20 or Saturday, June 21, 2025, from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM.

Accommodation is also available directly at the Matyšák Hotel for those who wish to extend their experience.

An evening full of flavors, aromas, and stories hidden in wines that rank among the very best – not only in Slovakia but also on the global stage. You will taste 10 carefully selected samples, including gold medal-winning wines from the world’s most prestigious competitions.

The tasting includes:

• Traditional-method sparkling wine aged for 6 years on the lees
• 3 fresh white wines from the 2024 vintage
• 1 delicate and elegant rosé from 2024
• 2 full-bodied and harmonious red wines
• 2 exceptional aged white wines from the archive
• An exclusive 15-year-old port-style wine

Alongside the wine tasting, enjoy a delicious buffet dinner (included in the ticket price), featuring a selection of hot and cold dishes perfectly paired with the wines.
