Nevinne o víne Piešťany - Wine Tasting

Discover the world of quality wines and experience the story of a unique industrial venue through the aromas and flavours of exceptional wines. Slovakia’s largest open wine tasting is coming to Piešťany, offering an evening filled with new flavours, winemakers’ stories and a pleasant atmosphere.

The event will take place on Saturday, 24 October 2026 from 4:00 PM at Elektrárňa Piešťany. Enjoy unlimited wine tasting featuring wines from renowned Slovak and international winemakers, including the winners of the 12th edition of the Danube Wine Challenge. During the event, you can meet winemakers in person, discover new wines and enjoy them from high-quality RONA tasting glasses.

The ticket includes:

• a RONA tasting glass,
• a €5 voucher for the purchase of wine.

The Danube Wine Challenge is one of the region’s important international wine competitions. During the event, you will have the opportunity to taste wines that have received awards from a professional jury and ranked among the highest-rated wines in their respective categories.

The event will also feature the Víno pomáha charity raffle. You can win wines from the participating exhibitors, while all proceeds from the raffle will be donated to the Neonatology Department of Alexander Winter Hospital in Piešťany.

Venue

The tasting will take place at Elektrárňa Piešťany, a unique venue where the history of industrial architecture meets modern cultural and social use. The brick walls and high ceilings of the historic power station will create an unusual atmosphere for an evening dedicated to wine and personal encounters with winemakers.
