Open Cellars at Ludany Vineyards 2026

The ninth edition of this popular event was born from a simple idea: to open the wine cellars of the Ludany Vineyards and welcome visitors inside. Winemakers from the Tekov region and its surroundings will pour their wines right where they are made – among the vineyard rows overlooking the village of Mýtne Ludany. Last year, more than 400 wine lovers attended the event, and this year's edition promises to be even bigger.

The event takes place on Saturday, 22 August 2026, from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM, in the Ludany Vineyards, both outdoors and inside the wine cellars along Viničná cesta. It is organized by the Na troch kopcoch Tekova a Hontu Civic Association in cooperation with the Municipality of Mýtne Ludany.

Taste wines from more than 20 wineries representing the Tekov region and its surroundings.

With eight hours dedicated to wine tasting, you'll have plenty of time to explore the individual wine cellars at your own pace and return to the wines you enjoyed the most. Live music will accompany the event throughout the day, while a selection of local food specialties will perfectly complement the wines.

The Ludany Vineyards offer something no exhibition hall or festival tent can replicate – you'll enjoy wine just a few steps from the vineyards where the grapes ripen, inside authentic wine cellars that are rarely open to the public.

Getting There

By Bus

Regular regional bus services operate from the Levice Bus Station to Mýtne Ludany. The journey takes approximately 10–15 minutes. We recommend checking the current timetable before your trip.

From the bus stop, it is approximately 1.6 km to the winery at Viničná cesta 381, 935 56 Mýtne Ludany, which is about a 20-minute walk or a 3–4 minute taxi or car ride.
