The Prestige Tasting

Discover the tastes and aromas of the awarded wines from the Small Carpathian and Southern Slovak wine growing regions. The Matyšák Winery will present to you a selection of the tastiest wines in its premium "Prestige" line.

A short drive or walk from the Main Train Station and the Centre of Bratislava, you descend underground into the historical cellar formerly owned by famous winemakers Palugyay, wine cellar dug as far back as 1904. In attractive surroundings that can house up to 45 000 bottles, you will enjoy six precisely selected samples from recent production and older, rarer wines. 

An experienced sommelier will walk you through the sensory experiences and talk about the unique characteristics of the wine you are tasting.

The wine will be accompanied with snacks from their local meat production, cheese specialties and crunchy fresh breads.

This is a public tasting so you may run into other wine lovers at the winery. The setup is adjusted to serve groups in both English and Slovak - there is enough time to cover both languages as you taste. The minimum number of guests for this tasting is two. If there are fewer reservations for this tasting at the moment, you can not reserve for fewer guests.
